1) How much do I need to put down to secure my spot?     

$50 per person. 

2) How can I pay you? 
Once we receive your BOOKING FORM you will receive a welcome email and shortly thereafter a Square invoice will be e-mailed to you at the address on your form.  it also allows you to pay with all major credit/debit cards. Square is widely used and secure. If you wish you can also pay by Paypal, Zelle, Venmo or check. Please email us at bigelephantmagic@gmail.com for details.

3) Can I set up a payment plan?         

Yes! Square makes it easier than ever for us to create a custom, zero interest payment plan. After your initial deposit please let us know how many payments you wish to make and when you wish to start. The final trip amount is due 45 days prior to departure. 

4) What is the cancellation policy? 
   90% refundable until 120 days before departure
   50% refundable until 75 days before departure
   30% refundable until 60days before departure
   Non-refundable 45 days or less before departure

   No- shows are non-refundable

5) When is the total amount due? 
45 days before departure.

6) Can I book a single room, how does "double occupancy" work?

Please note that there will be two options on the booking form, please indicate if you would prefer a solo room or a double room. If you are not bringing a travel companion, you will be paired with another solo female from the group.

 

7) I want to bring a family member or friend will they be welcome at the group events?

Yes absolutely! Though please note that the focus will be entirely on women who have lost their partners through pancreatic cancer.  

 

 8) What will the weather be like? Is there AC?

Expect the unexpected! Mid-June can be warm in Southern Arizona, though it is generally an arid heat with cool mornings and evenings (sometimes even a surprise rain shower).  AC is available throughout the entire hotel and there are refreshing pools for your relaxation.

 

9) I am unsure about the group activities, what if I get overwhelmed and don’t wish to do something?

This experience is all about you! Losing your spouse is so unsettling, we may need time to withdraw and time to contemplate. It is entirely up to you if you wish to retreat to your comfy room with a good book or take a break from activities! We understand.  Please note however, that there are no partial refunds for unused activities, meals or other components of the retreat.

 

10) Do you recommend trip insurance?
It’s never a bad idea to obtain travel insurance which will cover you in the unlikely event that you have to cancel right before the retreat start date. We recommend www.insuremytrip.com or your local Triple A for competitive rates.

11) I have special dietary requirements; can they be accommodated?  

Yes, absolutely! Please indicate on your booking form if you have any special dietary requirements so that we can alert the kitchen and waitstaff.

12) Will there be Wifi available? 
Free wifi is available throughout the property.

13) I like a glass of wine, or beer with dinner!  

Please note that all guests will receive two complimentary drinks per dinner (either cocktails or mocktails) all additional drinks will be charged directly to your room.
 

14) I am sober, will I still be welcome? 

Absolutely!! We are a safe space for everyone!
 

15) How do I get from the airport to the hotel and back? 

Airport pick up and drop off is included in your package price.

Please try and send us your flight info as soon as you receive it along with any changes/updates to your schedule. We want to make your arrival as stress free as possible! 

 

16) Does the property have free parking?

YES!  

 

17) I am getting there a few days early and/or leaving a few days late can you assist me with getting a room?

Absolutely, plea send us your flight schedule as soon as possible. we will send notification to the property to reserve your rooms for any days before/after our retreat package starts. Please note, you will pay the hotel directly for any additional nights/incidentals you enjoy before/after your retreat package.
